Our next meeting is Tuesday, December 5th, beginning at 6:30 pm. This will be our Christmas Potluck and Silent Auction as well as the unveiling of our Large Project Challenge. To refresh your memory all the requirements for the Challenge are on our Program Page. If you can't remember what you promised to bring for the dinner, please contact Rosanne or Brenda. The doors will be open at 6:00 and we'd really appreciate people who can come early and help set up. And don't forget your auction items and cash.

We need volunteers to serve as our two Co-chairs as well as demonstrators for 2018 so please consider doing your part to keep our Guild going.

The Burlington Machine Knitters Guild is a group of people who are dedicated to keeping the art and craft of machine knitting alive and flourishing. We do this by a variety of means including guest speakers, member demonstrations, field trips, video displays and group discussion.

Members help and encourage each other by providing support and helpful tips and advice. Our members include all skill levels from beginner to highly skilled teachers and designers. We knit on all makes and models of machines.

The yearly membership fee of $45 gives you access to a library and full participation in the Guild activities. We invite you to attend a meeting or two as a guest before deciding to join the Guild. Membership fee is non-refundable.

Meeting Highlights:
• extensive library of books, magazines and videos which are available for members
• well-planned demonstrations both by members and guest speakers
• show and tell of knitted items or stories of successes which inspire and encourage special techniques
• refreshments and sweets at a nominal fee
• raffles of yarn and magazines
• sales table of knitting items
