The yearly membership fee of $45 gives you access to a library and full participation in the Guild activities. We invite you to attend a meeting or two as a guest before deciding to join the Guild. Membership fee is non-refundable.

Meeting Highlights:

  • extensive library of books and magazines which are available for members
  • well-planned demonstrations both by members and guest speakers
  • show and tell of knitted items or stories of successes which inspire and encourage special techniques
  • the opportunity to ask questions and get help with any problems
  • refreshments and sweets
  • raffles of yarn and magazines
  • occasional sales table of knitting items

Burlington Machine Knitter’s Guild is a non-professional, social club dedicated to the enrichment of the Machine Knitter’s experience. The group may, or may not hold events in which individuals bring food, for personal or group consumption. As such, it is the responsibility of the individual attendees to decide whether the risk of contact, ingestion, and airborne contaminants may pose a risk to their allergic condition(s). Burlington Machine Knitters Guild, and its members cannot assume any sort of liability for health conditions that may arise from such occurrences.  **We are aware that one of our members has airborne allergies to eggs, nuts, fish, shellfish and mangoes so please refrain from bringing these foods to any meeting.


Our guild lending library which consists of knitting machine books, magazines, pattern/stitch books and DVDs are for your personal use only and are not to be copied nor shared without the copyright holder's written permission. It is the policy and has always been the policy of the Burlington Machine Knitters Guild that no published materials may be copied nor distributed by members or at any meeting demos.
